Throughout the year it is pretty common for me to have bud vases on the table filled with bouquets of weeds. Right now I have three dandelions and some clover adorning my kitchen table. To Lindy these aren't weeds but beautiful treasures.
On Valentine's Day, it was pretty enough to let her run through the yard barefoot. She immediately scored some great treasures and salivated when she saw a little crop of dandelions waiting to be blown into the wind.
I hope someday to have the knowledge and tools to really enhance these pictures and improve their look. However, I do love the moment in time that was captured...
Find your way over to Lisa's blog if you want to see more black and white shots.
May you always find beauty where ever you look!

Oh my goodness - what a gorgeous series of pictures! Nothing is better than blowing dandelions (well, except of course, having a bouquet of fresh ones on your table!)
They look fabulous in Black & White - Lindy is always beautiful!
She is a real cutie and your pics sure made me smile:)

There is nothing that says childhood like a child blowing a dandelion.
I think they look great in bw.
You did a great job!
I am slightly jealous it was warm enough to be barefoot. If we went in our yard we would be stuck to our knees in mud.
No "precious flowers" here yet ;)
Just love to see these precvious photos of sweet Lindy Li!!! I hear you are planning to meet my friend this week! I wish I was coming too! You will laugh a lot (and have a hard time getting a word in! Which she would easily cop to btw...which is why I love her!!!). Have a great time...I hope it works out!!!
:-)
LOVE LOE LOVE the 2nd picture(in the series). It is amazing. They are all good pictures but I love the deatils of the second one. great job mom!
Oh, these are so sweet. Just love them! Precious pictures.
Our Jadyn loves dandelions too. She will pick them by the handfuls. Still too cold and snowy for them yet this year.
Several weeks ago, she asked me what weeds were. I mentioned dandelions. She said, "You mean I've been picking WEEDS??" Oops, maybe she'll forget about that conversation and just go on enjoying her dandelions. :)
How sweet! Love her expression! Thanks for the comment on my blog.
There is just something so very precious when our children pick 'flowers' and bring them indoors. I never tire of those flowers in my house.
These are all sweet pictures of your beautiful girl, Lisa! I have a thing for blowing dandelion pictures...love them!
Wish we had a little bit of your weather!
I love this series of photos Lisa.......She is so precious and you really captured the spirit of the moment!! I cannot wait for the dandelions to make there way here....we still need to get rid of a few snow piles:)
Enjoy your week!

Lisa
What a sweet child and I really love that dress. I'd love to see it in color too. It looks like it was pastels? Anyway, BEAUTIFUL in black and white!

Our Blog: Double Happiness!
Such a sweet series of Lindy. I think these would be adorable framed and grouped together!
I just love this moment you captured. Barefoot on Valentines Day? (Only in my dreams!)
Beautiful photos! I love the dandelions blowing in the wind, and your daughter is just gorgeous! The black & white really makes them looks timeless.
precious! The top photo is absolutely adorable!!! I love those weeds in my house too, such a special part of having a little one :)
Oh, Lisa, they are perfect as they are. Lindy is so precious and I am diggin' the bare feet. I can't wait until our ground is dry enough to let the girls do the same. These pictures are beautiful and so special to remember all of the beautiful "flowers" that she brings you.
Oh Lisa...
I didn't participate this week, so I'm a bit behind visiting...these are simply lovely.
Such a true and sweet moment you captured....breathtaking.
